Financial consulting and business plans
We help start-ups and established companies make the right decisions for their growth — financial forecasts, choice of accounting policy and cash flow planning. We also prepare business plans for bank financing or EU funding applications.

We work with new and established companies that are planning their next steps. We prepare financial forecasts and cash flow plans, help with the choice of accounting policy and draw up business plans for bank loans or for applications under EU programmes.
What is included
- Financial forecasts and budgets for the coming year or for a specific project.
- Choice of accounting policy for a new company or when the business changes.
- Cash flow planning: when money comes in, when it goes out and when there will be a shortfall.
- Business plans for banks and for EU programmes.
- Analysis of financial statements: profitability, indebtedness, liquidity.
Who it is for
For start-ups that need to show a bank or an investor how they will operate. For growing companies planning an investment, new premises or new hires. And for owners who want a clear view of where the company's money is going.
Financial consulting is most useful before a major decision. A profitable company can run short of cash if its clients pay late while its suppliers want payment immediately. A cash flow plan shows this in advance and gives time to negotiate a credit line, a deferral or a different payment schedule.
A business plan for a bank or a programme has two tasks. It must meet the formal requirements of the bank or the call for proposals, and its figures must match the company's accounts and statements. A mismatch between the plan and the published financial statement leads to further questions. That is why we work with real accounting data, not with calculations made separately from it.
The accounting policy is also a decision with financial consequences. It determines, for example, how assets are depreciated and how stock is valued, and this affects the result in every year.
Statutory deadlines
Financial consulting and business plans have no general statutory deadline. The deadlines come from the bank or from the procedure you are applying under. We take them from the terms of the specific call or from the bank's requirements.
The plan and forecasts are based on accounting data, so it is important that the statements are closed on time: the Corporate Income Tax Act return is filed from 1 March to 30 June (source), and the annual financial statement is published by 30 September of the following year (source: Art. 38(1)(1) Accountancy Act). Banks and programmes often ask for the latest published statement.
What the client provides
- The financial statements for recent years and current reports from the accounts.
- A description of the idea or project: what, over what period, with what funds.
- Quotes for the investments: equipment, refurbishment, software.
- The bank's requirements or the programme's terms, if any.
- Your expectations for sales and prices. We check and structure them, but the market input data is yours.
How we work
- A meeting on your goals and the data available.
- Analysis and a financial model: income, expenses, cash flows, financing needed.
- We discuss the model with you and adjust the assumptions.
- You receive a plan or recommendations ready to use with a bank, a programme or your partners.
Where needed, we update the forecast after a few months by comparing the plan with the actual results.
Frequently asked questions
Does a business plan guarantee that I will get financing?
No. The decision is made by the bank or the programme. The plan presents the project clearly and with verified figures, which is a condition for it to be considered.
How long does a business plan take?
It depends on the project and on how quickly we receive the data. If there is an application deadline, tell us in the first conversation.
Can I get a consultation on cash flow only?
Yes. We can prepare just a cash flow plan for several months ahead, without a full business plan.
Do you need to be my accountants?
Not necessarily. If we do not keep your accounts, we will need the statements and reports from your accountant so that the plan is based on real data.
What does a business plan include?
Usually a description of the business and the market, an investment plan, a forecast of income and expenses, cash flows and sources of financing. The specific content depends on the requirements of the bank or the programme.
